Family & Community Strength

L’Harim creates space for veterans, families, and American supporters to build deep, lasting bonds.

A Bridge for Ongoing Care

The journey helps participants connect with additional publicly available services and resources so their healing can continue beyond the program.

Personal Recovery

Participants gain insight into their trauma, learn practical coping tools, and begin developing healthier responses to daily stress, family life, and work challenges.

The Process

A ten-day journey toward recovery

L’Harim offers a focused ten-day experience in a peaceful mountain environment, away from the noise of everyday life. In small groups, participants are guided by licensed therapists through reflection, connection, and practical skill-building.

Arrive in a safe setting

Participants begin the journey in a calm mountain environment designed to create distance from daily pressures and open space for reflection.

Share in small groups

Guided by licensed therapists, participants meet in small, supportive groups where they can begin processing traumatic service-related experiences at a pace that feels safe.

Build practical recovery tools

The program helps participants develop strategies for managing daily challenges, strengthening family relationships, and improving stability at work and at home.

Strengthen relationships

Through shared experiences, participants learn how to communicate more openly, reconnect with loved ones, and build healthier patterns of support.

Continue the path forward

L’Harim helps participants and their families identify additional services and care options so recovery can continue after the journey ends.

Real stories. Lasting connections.

Hear how community changes lives.

The workshop I participated in Vail Valley, Colorado, was far more than a life-changing personal experience. It not only provided me with the tools to cope with the experiences and challenges of my military service, but also had a profound impact on those closest to me, including my parents, siblings, and teammates in the army. Today, as a father, I continue to see how the lessons and skills I gained have shaped the way I approach life, relationships, and the challenges of parenthood.

About Us

Rooted in healing. Guided by connection.

L’Harim was created to support those carrying the invisible weight of service, trauma, and repeated conflict. We believe healing requires more than time. It requires safety, professional guidance, community, and a place where people feel seen.

Our name reflects our purpose. In Hebrew, L’Harim means both “to lift up” and “to the mountains.” The program brings participants into a peaceful mountain setting, where they can begin to lift themselves, their families, and one another toward recovery.

We bring together licensed therapists, dedicated leaders, and compassionate community members to create a meaningful bridge between Israeli veterans and supporters in the United States. Through this connection, participants receive emotional support, practical tools, and a renewed sense that they are not alone.

Leadership

Guiding with heart and purpose

Our leadership team is united by a shared commitment to veterans, families, and long-term healing. Together, we work to create a safe, respectful, and deeply human experience for every participant.
